The legendary Kiss My Airs pack is back! And we have a new set of famous Air Max icons to celebrate Air Max Day 2023 with us. This year’s theme focuses on the Safari colourway first seen on the Air Max 1 x atmos “Safari”. The Nike Air Max Plus “Kiss My Airs” 2023 rocks the classic gradient tones with subtle Safari details on the mudguard.
Ever since Nike introduced the Kiss My Airs campaign in 2017, we had plenty of awesome Air Max shoes in the collection. The 2023 pack looks to surpass all previous releases with Black and Grey Safari graphics. This Nike Tuned 1 rocks the signature gradient details in two ways: Grey & Black and two shades of Blue.
Nike formed a new breed of Air Max with the arrival of the Nike Air Max Plus. Introduced in 1998, Sean McDowell designed the shoe inspired by palm trees during his vacation trips. The Air Max Plus features an improved Air bubble which comes with rubber hemispheres for reinforcement.
A whale’s tail plastic midfoot shank provides torsional support, necessary to help the visible Air units in the forefoot and heel.
Yellow Nike TN logos on the heel, tongue, and outsole showcase the evolution of Air Max through the years.
The Nike Air Max Plus “Kiss My Airs” 2023 features a Grey mesh base with a gradient effect from top to bottom. Safari graphics on the tongue and mudguard gives us throwback vibes due to the popular print. Blue Swooshes adorn the sides with a Kiss My Airs tag behind.
The midfoot shank also features a gradient effect from light Blue to a darker shade of Blue. Gradient effects were made popular by the Nike Air Max Plus.
You can cop this pair with the rest of the Kiss My Airs 2023 collection this March 2023.
