One of the latest Air Max silhouettes also joins the celebratory “XXXV” Air Max collection. This Nike Air Max Pre-Day SE “XXXV Emerald / Freshwater” boasts subtle graphic hues on the grid mesh upper. Air Max Month 2022 is going all out with the amount of heat arriving left and right; now we can add this to the list!

2022 marks the 35th anniversary of Air Max technology; and Nike packed a lot of punch by bringing in the icons together with some of the latest Air Max silhouettes in the back catalogue. March may be the month we celebrate Air Max Day, but with a full year ahead of us, expect even more bangers from Nike.

The Nike Air Max Pre-Day officially launched in 2021 as the latest addition to the Air Max lifestyle selections. Inspired by the Nike Daybreak, the shoe boasts a mix of 1970s and 2020s aesthetics. Mesh makes up the base of the low-cut trainer, while overlays on the toe, eyestay, and side panels are reminiscent of Nike’s vintage runners.

Made with more sustainable materials, most of the design features on the shoe contain at least 20% recycled content.

The biggest update comes from the fully exposed Air Max unit in the heel. In usual Air Max fashion, foam makes up the midsole; but this time, a rigid cage surrounds the entire Air unit and provides even more cushioning. With even fewer layers, Air can now be felt directly underfoot.

This Nike Air Max Pre-Day SE “XXXV Emerald / Freshwater” arrives in a Black grid mesh base with subtle graphic prints resembling waves. Emerald / Clear Jade hues adorn the Swoosh, pull tab, and the tongue; wherein the “92W” on top of a diamond celebrates the milestone.

The “XXXV” behind the Swoosh comes in a similar fashion as the other silhouettes in the collection.

With Air Max Day approaching fast, expect an official release in March 2022.
