More multi-colour patchwork hits on a different Nike model! The Nike Air Max Pre-Day Women’s “Safari Mix / Patchwork” joins a range of Nike classics in this women’s exclusive colourway. Vibrant hues on the overlay join together and cover the white mesh base in this rendition. Looks like Nike got a little something going on with this pack that included the Nike Dunk Low and AM90.

First seen on the Nike Dunk Low that came out just recently, the Safari Mix makeover makes its way to a modern Air Max. With the long-awaited Air Max Month 2022, expect other models arriving in this multi-colour combo.

Introduced in 2021, the Nike Air Max Pre-Day showcased Nike’s 70s running heritage; as well as a tribute to the late American long-distance runner Steve Prefontaine who was one of the first Nike athletes. With the aesthetics of a runner and built for the streets; the Nike Air Max Pre-Day highlights a new Air Max design.

This pair is made with at least 20% recycled content on the mesh and suede upper combination. Strategically-placed overlays provide added durability to the upper.

A soft foam carrier makes up the midsole, while a rigid cage on the heel exposes the Air Max unit. This allows for better responsiveness and impact protection.

The classic waffle sole returns on the outsole and completes the design.

This Nike Air Max Pre-Day Women’s “Safari Mix / Patchwork” features an all-white body. Hints of Purple, Teal, Orange, and Red adorn the suede overlays. Leopard print can be found on the tongue and heel panel, while a grey cheetah pattern finishes off the heel midsole; hence the “Safari Mix”.

Black Swooshes on the sides bring the retro feel of the shoe.

With Air Max Month approaching, expect an official release of this shoe in early March 2022.
