Nike Air Max Terrascape Plus "Navy / Pink" DN4587-400

After first appearing in neutral colours, the eco-friendly Nike Air Max Terrascape Plus finally arrives in an interesting new colourway. This Nike Air Max Terrascape Plus “Navy / Pink” shares identical similarities to the Nike Air Max 90 Terrascape “Obsidian”; but with other defining features to set each shoe apart of course. So far, all Terrascape models brought out heat – and we’re not even halfway to the full potential of colourways!

The Nike Air Max 90 and the Nike Air Max Plus (Tuned 1) were the first two models clad in the Terrascape moniker. While some “Move to Zero” trainers are pretty much out there, these Terrascape models are undeniably intriguing pairs of kicks. Not only did Nike manage to modify the shoe with recycled content; but they also managed to update the aesthetic of the shoe with impressive design tweaks and added features.

Nike’s journey towards recycled content and sustainable materials on their products shifted to a whole new gear with Terrascape. The Nike Air Max Terrascape Plus shies away from the OG form of the Tuned 1 and features a TPU external lace cage also acting as the support structure.

The ripstop mesh makes up the base of the upper, while embroidered waves replace the TPU fingers seen on regular versions. TN logos on the shoe were replaced with TS – nodding to Terrascape.

Crater Foam makes up the midsole. The whale’s tail torsional midfoot shank and Tuned Air Max units in the heel and forefoot remain true to form. Underneath, colourful Grind Rubber speckles finish off the outsole.

This Nike Air Max Terrascape Plus “Navy / Pink” features a Midnight Navy blue ripstop mesh base with Pink accents on the Swoosh and fuse overlays covering the eyestays.

Light Pink also comprises the Crater Foam midsole with visible speckles.

Nike Sunburst details appear on the sockliner – a label ensuring that recycled content is present.
