Nike Air Max TW 1 "Speed Yellow Racer Blue" DQ3984-100

Two Air Max icons from the 90s collide in this brand new Nike Air Max model. Wavy lines, multiple Swooshes, and top-of-the-line comfort headline the trainer. The Nike Air Max TW 1 “Speed Yellow Racer Blue” brings the 90s to 2022 in this nostalgic colourway. This new silhouette already looks comfortable just by the looks of it.

Air Max technology celebrated its 35th anniversary back in March 2022 during Air Max Day. But Nike’s not done bringing in more surprises for us! Aside from special edition releases of Air Max icons, we now have the upcoming Air Max TW 1 set to drop in Fall.

Elements from the Nike Air Max Tailwind and the Nike Air Max Plus 1 comprise this new Nike Air Max TW 1. The upper consists of a mesh base layer with aggressive wavy patterns resembling the wavy designs of the two models. Leather reinforces the toe and rear, while the mesh heel collar provides a sock-like fit.

Multiple brand labels appear on the shoe. There’s one on the toe, Nike Air on the heel, a yellow TW logo on the tongue similar to the Tuned Air, and another on the lateral rear.

We have three kinds of cushioning on the Air Max TW 1. The phylon foam carrier encases the heel honeycomb Air Max unit, while a softer and more responsive Cushlon foam sits on the heel. With all the cushioning focused on the heel area, this will be a great option for walking all day!

The Nike Air Max TW 1 “Speed Yellow Racer Blue” features a White base construction with Racer Blue hues on the wavy lines and Cushlon foam. Hints of Yellow appear on the toe Swoosh, top plastic eyestays, and honeycomb Air Max unit.

This new shoe is also made out of sustainable materials as part of the brand’s Next Nature label.
