Nike Air VaporMax 2023 Flyknit "Pure Platinum" DV1678-002

We now have the latest entry in the VaporMax series this 2023, and it offers subtle upgrades from all previous styles! If you don’t like the bulky look of the Air Max Scorpion, you can always rely on this toned-down VaporMax. The Nike Air VaporMax 2023 Flyknit “Pure Platinum” debuts in this clean traditional VaporMax colourway.

Ever since Nike launched the Air VaporMax in 2017, people thought it was the peak of Nike Air technology. However, in the past five years, Nike kept developing Nike Air. This includes the VaporMax which came out in updated versions every year.

The Nike Air VaporMax 2023 Flyknit may not look like it, but the shoe retains the extremely plush cushioning of an Air-Sole. At first glance, we can see the Air unit looks similar to previous renditions, however, this model is lighter than all VaporMax releases. This is actually the lightest Nike Air VaporMax to date.

The sock-like Flyknit upper provides more stretch for wide-footers. A minimalist heel counter locks the foot down.

Nike also managed to keep the sole as one unit, a huge upgrade to the decoupled sole unit in the past. This allows for a smoother heel-to-toe transition when walking.

The Nike Air VaporMax 2023 Flyknit “Pure Platinum” arrives in a clean triple white makeover with platinum hits on the Swoosh. It’s hard to clean a shoe like this one, especially knitted fabrics, so make sure you have a sneaker cleaning kit alongside the shoe!

This debut colourway launches this May 2023 on the Nike UK website.
