Nike Blazer Low x sacai "White / Grey" DM6443-100

Most of the Nike Blazer x sacai colourways got a lot of things going on because of the colour combination. As a matter of fact, the reimagined basketball trainer itself has a lot of things going in terms of design. But for 2022, this Nike Blazer Low x sacai “Shiny White / Grey” sticks to a clean and simple colour blocking; setting it up as one of the highly awaited releases of the year!

Nike and Japanese fashion powerhouse sacai continue their fruitful relationship after the success of the first Blazer collabs in 2019. After a recent triple-way collab with Nike and KAWS, sacai brings up the heat in this all-white Blazer Low construction.

Chitose Abe founded sacai in 1999 and quickly looked to make a statement in the fashion industry. Abe first worked as a patternmaker for Rei Kawakubo’s Comme des Garçons empire, eventually becoming part of CDG prodigy Junya Watanabe’s team. Abe and her sacai label broke ground among western consumers in 2009 by setting up a store in Paris.

Nike and sacai originally teamed up way back in 2015 for a Nikelab collaboration featuring a sneaker and apparel collection. But it wasn’t until 2019 that the Japanese brand started catching people’s attention. That year saw the official launch of the new Nike LDV Waffle and a reworked version of the Nike Blazer.

The Nike Blazer x sacai featured overlapping layers and double details all over the shoe as if to make sure you’d always see it.

This Nike Blazer Low x sacai “Shiny White / Grey” arrives in an all-white crisp leather base with hints of Grey and Sail White. Grey suede appears on the under Swoosh; while “aged” details adorn the overlapping midsole rubber and the exposed foam on the lining.

Expect an official launch in February 2022 on Nike. Definitely a must-have for Nike sacai collectors out there.
