Nike continues to push the brand’s “Move to Zero” campaign with hopes for a more sustainable future. This Nike Crater Remixa “Grey Fog” keeps your style fresh; at the same time helps reduce carbon emission with its recycled content.
A bunch of Nike Crater models released in the past two years. The “Move to Zero” campaign by Nike launched in 2019 to lean towards zero carbon and zero wastes products. Bringing new tech comprised of recycled materials like the Nike Grind and Crater foam became Nike’s focus on this initiative. It also helped the brand utilise the old models by bringing a new rendition featuring sustainable products.
The Nike Crater Remixa is a lifestyle shoe with running-inspired attributes on the design and overall construction. It’s also the more streamlined model among all Nike Crater silhouettes. 20% recycled content by weight comprises the Nike Crater Remixa.
Recycled canvas fabric makes up the upper of this shoe. It’s just as durable as a real canvas so don’t underestimate its quality! The padding and heel tab around the ankle collar ensures you get the best possible fit despite being a low-top shoe with minimal construction. Nike’s Sunburst logo on the heel tab and sockliner symbolize “Move to Zero”.
The thick crater foam midsole isn’t just soft, it’s also supportive. Signature speckles add to the recycled details of the shoe. Underneath the foam is a rubber outsole featuring a square grid pattern in varying sizes.
This new Nike Crater Remixa “Grey Fog” features a grey canvas upper and outlined Swoosh logos. The Crater foam appears in Sail White with black speckles to keep the minimalist aesthetic in full display. A brown rubber outsole completes the setup.
