Nike Dunks and Nike Air Force 1s dominate this month’s releases while Air Jordans take a halt. The postponed releases paved the way for the Nike Dunks to shine; colourways like this one will surely be popular. This Nike Dunk High “Reverse Panda” goes for a simple White and Black makeover; a popular colour scheme on all Dunk styles.
There will never be a scarcity of Dunk colourways, especially when the Dunk wave continues to grow day by day. New colourways and restocks of the most popular styles grace many sneaker conversations worldwide. Styles like this rendition usually end up selling out as the clean White leather base is perfect for the summer.
Nike Dunks saw a recent surge in popularity in the past two to three years. But its story began in 1985 when Nike introduced the Dunk as a basketball shoe. The collegiate hoops scene popularised the sneaker thanks to the “Be True To Your School” campaign. Nike-sponsored colleges and universities rocked Nike Dunks in their school colours, matching their jerseys.
Later on, Dunks were still quite popular – this time as skateboard kicks. When Nike launched the SB label in 2002, the Nike SB Dunk headlined the footwear release.
This Nike Dunk High “Reverse Panda” features a White leather base dominating the entire upper of the shoe. Black laces and Black Swooshes add contrasting colours and fulfil the Reverse Panda theme.
This is one of the cleanest Nike Dunk High colourways this month. Keep an eye out for its release in July 2022 on Nike.
Expect more Nike Dunks to arrive for the rest of the year!
