What people once thought to be a new Heineken collab turns out to be a regular colourway. No complaints here because it makes it easier for us to cop! The Nike Dunk Low “Celtics” dons the iconic Boston Celtics colours of white and green along with black accents. Highly similar to the Dunk Low Lottery but with a few adjustments.
While it’s unfortunate that this wasn’t a collab with Heineken, it’s still a great pair of Dunks. This colourway definitely steals the attention thanks to the black Swoosh on the sides. No official Boston Celtics branding appears on this shoe, but the sneaker community can’t help but call it such.
Popular then, and even more popular now. The Nike Dunk seemed to fulfil the phrase “It’s not a race, it’s a marathon” as it returned to its glory. Originally debuted in 1985, the Nike Dunk entered the market as a basketball shoe before venturing into the lifestyle demographic. Top Nike-sponsored college basketball teams rocked the Nike Dunk in their school colours. Now, everybody wants simple styles like the Black and White, or the Panda.
With its immense popularity today, the Nike Dunk became the perfect alternative for the Air Jordan 1 and AF1. It’s still a simple shoe, yet it’s enough to turn people’s heads.
The Nike Dunk Low “Celtics” features a white leather upper with stadium green overlays. Black Swooshes cover the sides and heel panel. Green embroidered Nike labels appear on the tongue and heel.
The black rubber outsole finishes the classic team-inspired makeover.
Cop a pair when it launches this May 2023 on Nike UK.
