Taking a break from leather Nike Dunks? How about some canvas Nike Dunk Lows? Yes, you got that right. Dunk Lows continue to appear with different upper materials and updated designs. This Nike Dunk Low “Industrial Blue” combines canvas and textile fabrics for a new makeover headlined by Blue Green tones and unique stitching patterns. The colour blocking also boasts a lot of Sashiko vibes previously seen on some Nike and Jordan models.
Subtle details get a revamp as Nike retains the usual Dunk Low construction. Outer cross stitching replacing the perforations on the vamp stand out atop the White canvas fabrics. The two-tone colour blocking always gets a stamp of approval when it gets to the Nike Dunks!
Before the shoe became the world-famous casual shoe, Nike Dunks graced hardwood floors first. Introduced in 1985, the Nike Dunk is a basketball shoe made popular by college hoops. The brand’s Be True to Your School campaign leveraged Nike in the NCAA when their sponsored schools rocked Nike Dunks matching their uniforms.
Today, the Nike Dunk is still one of the most coveted sneakers. There are lots of Dunk releases in the past three years, and it looks to stay that way for the years to come.
This Nike Dunk Low “Industrial Blue” features White underlays and Industrial Blue overlays. Canvas and textiles make up the entire upper of the shoe. Cross stitches can be seen on the vamp and heel panel for additional details. More upcoming Dunk colourways will feature the same materials in different colours.
This pair releases this February 2023 on the Nike UK website.
