We’ve heard of the “Nike Run Club”; but now we also get a glimpse of the bright and vibrant Nike Sun Club! This new Nike Dunk Low SE “Nike Sun Club” combines a mix of colours and upper materials that reminds us of summer mornings. Nike Dunks just keep on getting better, don’t they?

Nike’s obviously prepared miles ahead of a sneaker’s release. While we’re enjoying the start of the year, the Swoosh brand’s release lineup reveals new upcoming trainers. This summer-inspired Nike Dunk Low SE for 2022 will definitely “brighten up” your day come official launch. No pun intended.

The Nike Dunk returned to its former glory, probably even more popular than ever before. But prior to becoming everyone’s must-have trainer as of late, the Nike Dunk first graced hardwood courts.

Introduced in 1985, the Nike Dunk was the brand’s premier basketball shoe. Arriving in both high-top and low-top renditions, the Nike Dunk sought fame during Nike’s “Be True To Your School” campaign; where top NCAA basketball teams rocked the Nike Dunks donning their school colours in two-toned fashion.

In recent years, the Nike Dunk rose back to mainstream sneaker culture. Various collabs hyped up the classic model – making it one of the most highly anticipated trainers even for non-sneakerheads.

This Nike Dunk Low SE “Nike Sun Club” preps up for the summer with various tints and a combination of fabrics. The shoe features soft pastel pink hues on the canvas toe and lateral quarter, as well as the laces. Shades of blue cover the medial quarter. A tan tumbled leather reinforces the rest of the panels.

A lateral suede Swoosh in yellow contrasts the blue medial Swoosh – seemingly an ode to the “sometimes hot, sometimes cold” dawn. Green accents appear on the collar, lining, heel panel, and rubber outsole.

Nike Sun Club details adorn the tongue and the heel, where the rising sun symbol’s smile resembles the Swoosh for a smirking expression.

Speckles on the midsole and outsole hint at the possibility of sustainable materials used on the shoe.
