While the front section of the shoe only uses mesh and fuse overlays, the magic works on the rear. The thick elongated rubber band holds the shoe together, but when you step on the heel, the shoe opens up thanks to the bi-stable hinge. This lets you wear the shoe easily and comfortable, without the need to adjust the fit.
