Inspired by the original Mayfly — a disposable racer built for a single 100km stretch — this release reinterprets the concept through a modern lens, keeping the focus on weight, speed, and efficiency.

The upper strips away bulk. Featherlight materials form the frame, improving breathability and flexibility. It feels barely there, yet manages to lock down where it matters. Nike’s decision to draw from the Mayfly’s race-first concept shows up in the details, but this pair’s lifespan stretches far beyond a single finish line.

Cushioning takes centre stage. Underfoot, the triple stack of ZoomX, ReactX, and a full-length Air Zoom unit responds to each stride.
