November is generally a busy month worldwide. And with the heavy-loaded roster of sneaker releases, we can now all agree with this sentiment! Joining the Nike SB Dunk’s plethora of collabs in 2022 is Keith Hufnagel’s skateboarding label HUF. The Nike SB Dunk Low HUF “San Francisco” is one of the three expected colourways in the collaboration. Each colourway rocks special details and more designs beneath the leather surface. Sometimes it’s hard to decide whether you let this shoe wear away naturally or cut the leather upper out quickly!
HUF’s collab with Nike is one that’s awaited by many. After months of previews and on-feet images, the official drop approaches closer than ever before. All three pairs included in the collab feature removable quarter panels that reveal tie-dye graphics.
The Nike Dunk is so iconic, Nike even reintroduced the shoe with an updated version for skateboarders. Launched in 2002, the Nike SB Dunk is the pioneer shoe under the Nike SB label which launched in the same year.
The Nike SB Dunk features almost the same aesthetics as the regular Nike Dunk, but with better support and cushioning. Some of the most notable tweaks include the padded tongue, traction pattern, and Zoom Air unit in the heel.
This Nike SB Dunk Low HUF “San Francisco” may look like a regular Black and White Dunk in premium leather, but it holds so much more. HUF details appear on the toe, and “Keith Forever” branding adorns the heel panel. Underneath the heel panel are urban infrastructures that feature 3M reflective materials and shine under the right lighting placements.
The quarter panel hides a canvas tie-dye layer featuring Orange and Black pigments.
