Nike TN Air Max Plus 3 "Crater"

Stand out with an unprecedented style in this Nike Air Max Plus 3! First introduced in the early years of the 2000s, the third rendition of the Tuned Air-equipped Nike Air Max Plus has returned to amaze the sneakerheads once more. It’s a shoe that was way ahead of its time. This new 2021 release arrives in a “Crater” edition that makes use of sustainable content.

The Nike Air Max Plus 3 is a sneaker like no other. Referred to as the Tuned 3 for short, its futuristic design and Tuned Air Max units are a testament to Nike’s innovation when it comes to the brand’s sneaker tech. Nike’s Tuned Air is a modified version of Air Max, the air bubble is blow-moulded with rubber and embedded onto the sole to provide extra support and stability. It is one of Nike’s most advanced Air technologies, and people couldn’t get enough of it.

Taking things forward, the Nike Air Max Plus 3 also features a thick heel counter to further stabilize the heel area. This area is also adorned with the Tuned Air logo and labels. A plastic toe cap is fitted to protect the forefoot. The mesh upper is reinforced with multiple strips that are strategically placed on high-wear areas to increase durability.

Topping off this futuristic sneaker’s design are two visible Tuned Air Max units housed in a foam midsole for impact protection and all-day comfort. The decoupled outsole bridges the waffle traction on the forefoot and the thick Air unit on the heel.

This colourway hits in a Black mesh base upper with abstract graphic hues of Volt, Orange, and Brigade Blue to achieve a speckled finish. The tongue and Nike Grind Rubber on the outsole are finished with the colourful speckles.

A Volt heel counter provides stability and torsional support, but is definitely an eye-catching section of this shoe. With a finishing effect that makes the lines resemble lightning strikes.

Multiple “Nike Tn” logos can also be found all over the shoe to represent.

Released August 2021 expect nothing but comfort and style in this eco-friendly edition of the Nike Air Max Plus 3.
