First introduced in 2021, the Nike Waffle One stuck to its roots by incorporating Nike’s running heritage with modern footwear.

The shoe resembles the upper of the Nike Daybreak, while the sole reminds us of the Nike x sacai LDWaffle. Transparent mesh fabric makes up the outer base layer, with an internal padding on the forefoot and rear to keep the structure of the shoe intact. Suede reinforcements adorn the mudguard, eyestays, and heel.

A double-stacked plastic heel clip provides support where needed. The full-length soft foam midsole provides cushioning that can be enjoyed long term.

Underneath is the namesake waffle outsole.

This Nike Waffle One “Light Chocolate Vapor Mauve” features a Brown mesh base with Ivory suede panels. Complementary hues hit the midsole, heel counter, and rubber outsole.
