The Nike Waffle One continues to be a popular model due to its similarities with some of the sacai Waffle models. Steadily making a name for itself in just over a year after debut, the Nike Waffle One stands out. This new colourway is perfect for the summer, boasting a Sail White and Grey colour combination. Not to mention that most Waffle One releases now utilise recycled content as part of the Next Nature label!

Released in 2021, the Nike Waffle One revived one of the most revolutionary inventions in the history of running trainers. Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman borrowed his wife’s waffle iron and swapped butter with rubber. The result? Waffle outsoles that gripped unlike anything ever before.

The Nike Waffle One features a classic waffle outsole – featuring tiny boxes with evenly spaced grooves for a reliable grip.

While the shoe uses the Waffle Trainer’s looks, the Waffle One incorporates modern aesthetics in the form of an asymmetrical tongue and doubled-stacked wedges on the heel counter.

This Nike Waffle One SE “Phantom Sail” features a Sail White mesh base with wool-like overlays on the mudguard and heel panel. Outlines come in a mix of Black and Grey for added style.

Volt sockliners highlight the Nike Sunburst logo and indicates recycled content on the shoe.

A Grey outsole finishes things off in this summer-ready pair.
