Nike Waffle One Premium Toasty Pack "Rattan"

You don’t have to worry about getting your feet cold with this special Nike Waffle One Premium Toasty “Rattan”! The unique twist on the new silhouette boasts fall and winter-ready features to keep your style fresh no matter the season.

A new addition to Nike’s lifestyle catalogue, the Nike Waffle One is a homage to the Swoosh’s running heritage during the brand’s early years in the 70s. It features the namesake waffle outsole that was invented by Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman. He discovered how effective the waffle traction was when he was experimenting with different sole designs. Because of this discovery, Nike’s early track shoes utilised the waffle sole even now.

Designed for the modern era, Nike combined lightweight and breathable transparent mesh in the Nike Waffle One. Suede overlays reinforce the shoe for some added fanciness.

Quilted leather Swoosh makes up the premium design of this “Toasty” Pack version.

The futuristic designs found on the shoe are noticeable on the asymmetrical tongue and a stacked plastic heel clip. The thin asymmetrical tongue allows your feet to slide into the shoe easily. While the plastic heel clip provides enough support.

The soft dual-stacked foam midsole gives you enough cushioning for a comfortable ride. Underneath is the classic waffle traction pattern with evenly spaced nubs for consistent grip on any surface.

This Nike Waffle One Premium “Rattan” emerges as part of the winter-ready Toasty collection. Beige quilted upper with jumper-like details adorn this shoe. Brown Kelp accents on the suede overlay maintain the natural hues of this colourway.

Finishing the shoe is the Nike Grind outsole with colourful speckles to emphasise Nike’s “Move to Zero” initiative.
