Givenchy Creative Director and Nike associate Matthew M Williams redefines the slide game with his own premium design. After his unique MMW 004 in 2021, the designer switched gears and decided to create a slide for his latest Nike entry. The Nike Zoom MMW 005 “Light Grey” comes in a clean greyscale makeover that takes slides to the next level! Premium is what you ask for, premium is what you’ll get!

This is a design only Matthew M Williams could pull off. It’s not just any ordinary slide as the interior boasts stability plates. The Light Grey colourway makes everything better as the colourway is a trend among slides.

Move aside sneakers, slides now have the spotlight! Whether you’re a long-time fan of Crocs or riding the plethora of adidas slides, we can’t escape this growing trend. Hype, comfort, and easy wearability are now the sneaker community’s main priorities when it comes to choosing slides.

The new Nike Zoom MMW 005 Slide leans toward the luxurious side of things with this foam-based slide. Plastic stability plates can be seen inside the footwear to add torsional support and serve as the primary cushioning.

Perforation holes appear all over the upper and the outsole for ventilation and to keep the slide lighter.

This Nike Zoom MMW 005 “Light Grey” features a monochromatic Light Grey treatment. Metallic Silver stability plates can be seen peaking through the sides and outsoles.

The pair comes with a special box and a cloth bag to store the slide.
