NOCTA x Nike Hot Step Air Terra "Black Chrome" DH4692-001

The second colourway of Drake’s first-ever signature shoe from Nike finally lands in June. First previewed on-feet Drake on his “Laugh Now, Cry Later” music video in 2020, the all-black edition starts hitting retailers. This NOCTA x Nike Hot Step Air Terra “Black Chrome” goes stealthy with its Black leather base; shiny hints of chrome, signature NOCTA three swords, and a Green Air Max bubble bring special details to the shoe.

Long-time Nike and Jordan Brand ambassador finally gets his first signature lifestyle sneaker. The new Nike Hot Step Air Terra may pose obvious tributes to 90s trainers, but he puts a modern twist on classic Nike technologies.

This isn’t the first shoe involving Drake, years before Nike launched Drake’s NOCTA sub-label there was OVO. Drake’s October’s Very Own appeared on various Air Jordan Retros such as the Air Jordan 8, 10, and 12. All of which arrived in two colourways in Black/Gold and White/Gold. Years later, Drake’s nocturnal creative process comes to life with NOCTA – leaning to utility and function rather than solely flexing style.

The Nike Hot Step Air Terra is the first sneaker formed in the partnership between the two. Gone is the iconic owl emblem from OVO, now replaced with three swords found on the tongue and sockliner.

This NOCTA x Nike Hot Step Air Terra “Black Chrome” features an all-black leather upper with Chrome hits on the top eyestay, heel, and mini Swoosh. G-Tek traction returns for the first time in forever and boasts a reliable grip.

The foam midsole houses a Green Nike Air Max unit in the heel for added comfort and cushioning.

Scheduled for a June 2022 release, keep an eye out for this pair on Nike.
