Patta x Nike Air Max 1 SP "Brown" DO9549-200

Patta is back for more special Air Max 1 collabs! After quadruple AM1s from the previous year, Dutch-based streetwear and sneaker boutique introduces a brand new batch for 2022. This Patta x Nike Air Max 1 SP “Brown” finally gets the green light for an August 2022 release. Other previewed colourways are on the way, expect them to come out soon as well!

The Nike Air Max 1’s 35th-anniversary celebration is not yet over as new styles arrive halfway through 2022. Making another noise is the “Wave” pack from the Patta x Air Max 1 collab. The wave continues in 2022 with this luxurious “Brown” rendition.

Nike set itself apart from the rest of the sportswear brands with the arrival of the Air Max technology in 1987. The brand already had Nike Air from the previous decade, but Tinker Hatfield designed a shoe that allows the encased air bag to be visible. And thus the Air Max was born with the Nike Air Max 1.

First created for running, the Air Max 1 features a mesh upper with leather or suede overlays. The thick PU sole houses a visible Air Max unit on the heel for more bounce and provides plenty of cushioning.

Bill Bowerman’s waffle outsole makes its way to the AM1 for reliable traction.

This Patta x Nike Air Max 1 SP “Brown” will be the fifth colourway in the “Wave” collection. It features a Grey mesh upper with Brown leather overlays for that premium feel. Hints of Blue adorn the top plastic eyestay and the embroidered Nike Air label on the heel. Maroon makes up the interior lining of the shoe.

A yellowing midsole returns as a notable feature previously seen on the first four releases.

The shoe comes with a unique Patta hang tag and a special packaging box.
