PUMA gets ready for the ultimate return of one of their classic trainers from the 80s. Popularised in basketball and immortalised in streetwear, the PUMA Slipstream goes back to its former glory with a 2022 relaunch. This PUMA Slipstream “White Peacoat Nimbus Cloud” joins the first few colourways of the latest Slipstream campaign. With all this heat and hype about the shoe, expect the Slipstream’s popularity to rise among the new generation who never witnessed it back then!

As PUMA gears up for the PUMA Slipstream’s big comeback, huge expectations are in store for the shoe. While the Slipstream is not a stranger for avid PUMA fans; the new generation of sneakerheads may have no idea about its history at all. The basic colourways in White will introduce the sheer popularity of this silhouette, and PUMA wants to do the same in 2022.

Introduced in 1987, the PUMA Slipstream is a follow-up to the PUMA SKY LX basketball shoe. It came in various styles to cater to athletes of all proportions.

More than a decade after leading PUMA’s basketball selections, the Slipstream transitioned to lifestyle and streetwear. The shoe is incredibly popular in Japan which led to the Made in Japan styles with unique colourways inspired by Japanese culture.

This PUMA Slipstream “White Peacoat Nimbus Cloud” is one of the first few colourways releasing in the 2022 relaunch. White makes up the leather base while Midnight Navy hues cover the lining and suede heel panel. Gold PUMA labels on the tongue and heel add a touch of premium to the classic sneaker.
