Reebok teams up with the Keith Haring Foundation for a special collaboration featuring the GL6000. This Reebok GL6000 x Keith Haring “Glen Green” showcases the late and great American pop artist’s notable artworks. Specifically the Radiant Baby and the Barking Dog.
The Reebok GL6000 is the brand’s vintage running trainer in the mid-80s. It’s lightweight and reinforced to ensure it fits well and provides enough support for training days. Debuting in 1986, the Reebok GL6000 makes its return to grace the classic sneaker scene once more.
Leather, mesh, and suede overlays make up the body of the shoe. Reebok Classic brand labels adorn the sides, heel panel, and the tongue. Subtle Reebok side stripes logo can be seen on the sides as well, sticking true to the old-school aesthetics of the brand.
A GL 6000 appears near the rear.
The midsole features a die-cut EVA foam with a Reebok brand label on the back. A TPU heel clip gives enough support, rigidity, and stability to keep the runners secure.
Finishing the design is the rubber outsole with multiple lugs for consistent grip and extra durability to keep you going.
The Reebok GL6000 is a mainstay lifestyle shoe in the Reebok Classic catalogue. Now it’s back for more, this time showcasing Keith Haring’s popular artworks.
The Reebok GL6000 x Keith Haring “Glen Green” boasts a Green and White makeover with hits of orange and yellow throughout the shoe. Keith Haring’s signature and human figures appear on the tongue; where they’re holding the green Reebok Classic symbol up.
Embroidered yellow elongated Radiant Baby and orange elongated Barking Dog figures immortalize Haring’s masterpieces.
A special Keith Haring sockliner completes the collab.
