Stussy x Nike Air Max 2013 "Psychic Pink" DR2601-600

Definitely one of the most surprising collab releases of the year! Stussy returns after a previous collab with the Swoosh featuring three Air Force 1 Mids and a recent team-up with Converse. This time, the California-based skate and surfwear brand Stussy pulls out a surprise Air Max model from the archives. The Stussy x Nike Air Max 2013 “Psychic Pink” modifies the classic Air Max 2013 with reverse Swooshes. This Pink colourway is just one of three expected renditions of the latest Stussy x Nike partnership.

Stussy wants to keep the brand’s momentum going with multiple collabs in 2022. We’re still in August but the brand will already have three collab releases by then. The trio Air Max 2013 pack will headline the latest collection including some apparel.

2013 was already 9 years ago but it felt like yesterday. The Nike Air Max 2013 came out in its namesake year and was a hybrid running lifestyle shoe. Fuse and plastic overlays were still mainstream back then compared to the mesh and knit-dominated era we have today. The Nike Air Max 2013 features a large full-length Air Max unit with thick grooves on the modified waffle outsole for flexibility. Flywire cables adorn the lacing setup to improve the fit of the low-top shoe.

This Stussy x Nike Air Max 2013 “Psychic Pink” revives the 2013 model and features a Pink airy mesh base with fuse overlays. Unlike the regular 2013, this rendition features a reverse Swoosh on the rear panel. The “Air Max” label found on the heel also disappeared.

Stussy labels appear on the midfoot, tongue, and outsole.
