Nike Waffle One Premium Toasty Pack "Olive Green"

Nike’s Toasty Pack continues to pack heat for the upcoming fall and winter season! This Nike Waffle One Toasty Pack “Olive Green” is a certified cosy sneaker with its padded upper and winterized materials.

A new addition to Nike’s lifestyle selections, the Nike Waffle One pays homage to the brand’s running heritage going way back to the early 70s. It features the namesake waffle outsole that was invented by Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman. He discovered how effective the waffle traction was when he was experimenting with different sole setups. Because of his discovery, Nike’s early track shoes utilised the waffle sole.

Made for the modern era, Nike combined lightweight and breathable transparent mesh in the Nike Waffle One. Together with suede overlays to reinforce the shoe, let’s take a trip down Nike’s heritage with the Waffle One.

Aiding the structure of the shoe is the leather Swoosh on the sides. It adds to the durability of this lightweight shoe.

The futuristic designs found on the shoe come in the form of an asymmetrical tongue and a stacked plastic heel clip. The thin asymmetrical tongue allows your feet to slide into the shoe with ease. While the plastic heel clip provides decent support.

The soft dual-stacked foam midsole gives you enough cushioning to keep you going all day. Underneath is the classic waffle traction pattern with evenly spaced nubs for consistent grip.

Part of the winter-ready Toasty Pack, this special colourway of the Nike Waffle One features an Olive Green quilt-like upper made with recycled content. Fuzzy suede overlays bring a more luxurious feel to the shoe. The inner padding of the tongue also features some kind of wool for a cosy vibe.

Laser Orange accents hit the quilted Nike Swoosh and the mini Swoosh upfront. A “Snug” tag on the lateral sides ensures that this shoe will give you comfort as you’ve never felt before.

A special “Toasty” label appears on the sockliner. The Toasty Pack includes other Nike lifestyle models, all of which also feature recycled materials.

The Nike Grind rubber makes up the waffle sole to reduce factory scraps.
