The Jordan Year seems to go all out with special Air Jordan Retro releases. 2023 also marks the Air Jordan 3’s 35th anniversary, headlined by the “White Cement Reimagined” releases. This WMNS Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Black Cement” honours the Air Jordan 3 and one of its most iconic colourways. If you’re not feeling the High version, this is a great alternative! It highly resembles the Nike SB Dunk Low x Supreme “Black Cement” from 2002!
Jordan Brand brings an iconic colourway from one Air Jordan model to another. The Air Jordan 3 is one of the most iconic sneakers of all time, it’s also Michael Jordan’s second favourite after the 11. With 35 years of history, the brand delivers a tribute colourway with this J1 Low OG rendition.
In terms of relevance, the Air Jordan 1 never really panned out from the spotlight. Since its arrival in 1985, the shoe gained attention in the sneaker world in the same way MJ caught everyone looking at his basketball prowess. The shoe comes in a leather construction with a perforated toe for ventilation during basketball. A Jordan Wings logo on the collar separated the sneaker’s identity from other Nike basketball shoes in the 80s.
This WMNS Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Black Cement” features a black smooth suede base with elephant print overlays in grey. The colour combination takes its origin from the Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement”, an OG colourway from 1988. White leather Swooshes and black embroidered Wings logo on the heel deliver iconic Jordan branding.
The sail white midsole and grey rubber outsole complete the design. A special packaging box with elephant print graphics will be included.
