It’s that time of the year when Nike blesses us Air Max fans with all-new Air Max 1 colourways. Ahead of the Air Max Day 2023 on 26th March, we get new styles for men, women, and kids! The WMNS Nike Air Max 1 ’87 “Great Indoors” goes all out with exotic animal prints and floral designs on the upper. This reminds us a lot of the Concepts x Nike Air Max 1 collabs from the previous year.

Air Max 1s get extra love every March thanks to the Air Max Day celebration. This event first began in 2014 and became an annual celebration. The Air Max Day also becomes a showcase for Nike to introduce new models. Either way, it’s a highly anticipated occasion among the sneaker community!

The Nike Air Max 1 is the father of all Air Max sneakers. If this shoe did not go as planned, we probably wouldn’t have all these awesome Air Max shoes today.

Released in 1987, the AM1 features a visible Nike Air unit in the heel. There’s an encapsulated unit in the forefoot area for more cushioning.

The lightweight mesh makes up the upper of the shoe, while leather and suede comprise the mudguard and midfoot overlays.

Air Max 1 releases remain highly anticipated as the shoe flaunts that timeless aesthetic.

This WMNS Nike Air Max 1 ’87 “Great Indoors” joins in on the fun for Air Max Day 2023 with animal prints. Subtle embossed floral prints on the vamp come in White, while the pebbled leather overlay on the midfoot keeps the shoe clean.

Cow graphic prints adorn the mudguard, tiger stripes can be seen on the Swooshes. Red paisley prints comprise the canvas heel panel.
