Since its comeback in the previous year, new Air Rift colourways are on the way in 2023! This popular lifestyle brings back the trendy hassle-free vibe of wearing laceless footwear. The WMNS Nike Air Rift “Camouflage” arrives with desert camo textures on the lightweight mesh upper. Definitely a great all-around shoe for all seasons!

While unknown to the new generation of sneakerheads, the Nike Air Rift became a fashion statement in Japan. Its tabi split-toe feature combined with the Kenyan barefoot running origins turned the Air Rift into a classic. A timely return to capitalize on the popularity of other similar-looking trainers.

This sneaker sandal hybrid originally came out in 1995 and was named after the Great Rift Valley along Kenya. Due to its unique design, many people wore the shoe for various purposes.

The Air Rift features a stretchy upper composed of mesh with reinforced lining on the edges. To mimic the barefoot running sensation, designer Kip Buck got rid of the laces and put a Velcro strap on the midfoot. Aside from the split-toe design, the Swoosh on the forefoot gives it an identity.

Nike brought the Air Rift back in 2022 although in a sporadic manner. This 2023, we have more styles on the way.

The WMNS Nike Air Rift “Camouflage” features a desert camo upper with black lining on the edges. Sail white foam midsoles and a gum rubber sole complete the classic look.

This Air Rift colourway will arrive in women’s sizing. Expect this to release in May 2023.
