Women's Nike Air Max Furyosa "Summit White / Black"

What’s better than a visible Air Max unit? Double-stacked Air Max units! The upcoming Women’s Nike Air Max Furyosa seems to be the futuristic rendition of the Air Max 90 and other Nike runners in the 90s. And we’re here for it! Check out this clean colour combination in White and Black.

2021 brings a new futuristic Nike Air Max model, and this time it’s exclusively for women!

Bold designs and multiple thick overlays highlight the modern Air Max silhouette. Just when you thought one of each feature is enough, the Air Max Furyosa doubled them to make the shoe look truly “furious”.

Mesh makes up the base, while suede and synthetic leather overlays reinforce the lower panels of the upper. The TPU piece right on the midfoot shows two tiny Swooshes; one upright and the other upside down. Two more mini Swooshes appear on the toe panels.

To keep things a little more “extra”, an external shoelace runs from the forefoot and looped in a ribbon on the heel panel.

Going to the midsole, a thick foam on the forefoot provides that instant comfort when you put on a shoe. The middle area is cored-out for a better transfer of cushioning. On the heel, two visible Air Max units encased within foam carriers are stacked on top of another for increased impact protection. Nike hasn’t shied away from using double-stacked Air units, and they sure didn’t shy away on this one either.

Nike’s classic waffle traction pattern finishes the outsole.

The new Nike Air Max Furyosa “Black/Summit White” features a tried and tested White and Black makeover. A far cry from the loud and popping colour schemes of the first few Air Max Furyosa that released.

A semi-translucent outsole with colourful speckles takes inspiration from the Nike Grind design.
