Ready, Set, Hut! The Nike Air Max 90 “Detroit Lions” is Primed for the Super Bowl

With the annual Super Bowl coming up just around the corner, it looks like Nike is getting ready for some big drops as we get our first look at the Nike Air Max 90 “Detroit Lions.” While this isn’t an official collaboration with the Dan Campbell-coached squad, the palette perfectly matches the team’s colours. Is it a coincidence? We think not.

Working on top of a crisp “White” foundation, this Air Max 90 is overlaid by panels of “Grey” suede across the lateral and medial sidewalls. A dash of leather wraps around the mudguard section, and all of this is contrasted by a slick “Black” Swoosh that glides through the lateral and medial sidewalls. Of course, there’s just no way you can talk about this sneaker without mentioning the striking “Photo Blue” accents that make their way throughout. Giving it that classic Detroit Lions vibe, even if you aren’t a fan, there’s no denying that this is one good looking colourway.

“Nike” branding features on the tongue tag and heel badge, and all of this rests on top of an Air-infused midsole that’s as comfy as it gets. It’s then finished off with a grippy rubber outsole – perfect for charging through the gridiron or, well, just sitting back and watching the Super Bowl from the comfort of your own couch.
