First Look: Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “Green Apple”

After a plethora of Nike Dunks releasing almost left and right, its skateboarding counterpart, the Nike SB Dunk, has a little bit of momentum going on as well for 2022. One of the most popular (and probably highly awaited) SB Dunk releases are the “4/20” themed renditions. Aside from being a traditional release, “4/20” SB Dunks are also extremely limited in numbers. Let’s take a detailed look at the upcoming Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “Green Apple”; which is going to be the fourth fruit in the Nike SB Dunk Fruity Pack.

A few months earlier, first images of the other trainers included in the pack leaked all over the internet. The likes of SB Dunk High “Pineapple, SB Dunk Low “Blue Raspberry” and “Cherry” gave a glimpse of an expected April 2022 launch. We finally get the fourth and final colourway in the Fruity Pack in this early detailed look.

This “Green Apple” colourway reminds us of usual 4/20 SB Dunks featuring tones of green with fuzzy suede overlays. However, what sets them apart from the others is the rather funny character appearing on the thick and padded tongue.

Inside the tongue hides a rather looped Green Apple figure with two different expressions on each pair. The left pair shows a grinning (or should we say “greening”) apple with an X bandage; while the other pair highlights a rather shocked apple with a bite on its head.

The base comes in crisp premium leather, with fuzzy suede overlays on the toe, eyestay, and rear sections. A darker shade of green covers the suede Swoosh and stands out.

The midsole comes in the usual white and the green rubber outsole completes the design.

Keep an eye out for an official release of the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “Green Apple” in 2022 together with the rest of the Fruity Pack.
