Stride Into Chinese New Year With Style in the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Year of the Dragon”

Every year, Nike launches a full collection of sneakers that honour the Chinese zodiac. After dropping a bevy of rabbit-inspired Dunk Lows earlier this year, the American sportswear company has now taken the wraps off of the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Year of the Dragon,” and it’s the ultimate homage to 2024’s mythical beast.

Just like the Air Jordan 1 Low “Year of the Dragon” that we previewed at the end of last week, this trainer makes a statement by being understated. Working on top of a crisp white leather base, it’s overlaid by light grey suede panels that are very subtly tinted with a dash of pastel pink.

A textured Swoosh shoots through the lateral and medial sidewalls with a scale-like finish, and the tongue and heel are embellished with fiery red tags that add some spiciness to the shoe. Step inside and the sockliner boasts a canvas of zodiac motifs, and capping it off are a pair of dragon-themed lace locks that have been made exclusively for this CNY release.

While an official release date has yet to be announced, expect the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Year of the Dragon” to launch sometime towards the end of January 2024. Keep a close eye on Captain Creps to secure your preferred size as soon as they become available!
