The Air Jordan 1 Low “Shattered Backboard” Has Been Revealed

Jordan Brand is continuing its 40th birthday celebrations with the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low “Shattered Backboard.” Inspired by the iconic colourway of the same name, while it doesn’t mirror the 2015 version completely, this low-cut edition still packs a punch

Boasting a premium full leather construction, this Air Jordan 1 Low works on top of a crisp white base and is overlaid by slick black panels across the toebox, lacing system, and collar. Across the sidewalls, you’ll find a “Starfish” orange Swoosh (just like the OG), and this is complemented by the heel counter that’s dipped in the same spicy colour scheme.

Speaking of which, the iconic winged basketball emblem is stitched around the heel. All of this then rests on top of a “Sail” Nike Air midsole that gives the sneaker a vintage vibe.

Sure, it’s not a 1:1 recreation of the original “Shattered Backboard,” but the Air Jordan 1 Low “Shattered Backboard” is still pretty iconic in its own right.
