The Air Jordan 3 SE “Lola Bunny” Joins Space Jam’s 30th Anniversary

While the Air Jordan 3 is famous for its iconic, textured elephant-print panels on the toe and heel, the kids’ Air Jordan 3 SE “Lola Bunny” takes a fresh, creative direction. Replacing the classic grey pattern with smooth pink accents, the design builds the entire shoe around the Space Jam star’s personality rather than just sticking a character logo on the side.

The white leather upper has a faint pink tint and a slight iridescent finish, keeping the familiar Jordan 3 shape clear. Pink wraps the lower part of the shoe and heel, while brighter pink stitching and blue lining bring in more colour. The result is recognisably an AJ3, but softer and more cartoon-like than a conventional retro.

The character details reward a closer look. A pink Lola-inspired Jumpman appears on one tongue, opposite a yellow Jumpman on the other. One insole shows Lola dunking; the other carries her line from the film, “Don’t Ever Call Me Doll.” Blue laces flecked with pink, an optional fuzzy lace set and a tail-like pom-pom hangtag push the theme further. Buyers who prefer a restrained Jordan 3 may find that finishing touch a little much, though the cleaner panels give the playful pieces space to stand out.

The timing connects the pair to the 30th anniversary of Space Jam, the 1996 film that brought Michael Jordan and the Looney Tunes together. It also makes an interesting change to a model introduced in 1988, when designer Tinker Hatfield gave the Air Jordan 3 its signature elephant print.

What are your thoughts about this pair? Is this the best from the Jordan Brand x Space Jam collection? The Air Jordan 3 SE “Lola Bunny” drops November 5th for £120 and will be available via Nike and select Jordan stockists in women’s and kids’ sizing.
