A brand-new theme is going beyond Kobe Bryant’s special-edition shoes with Nike. Unlike the typical purple-and-gold Los Angeles Lakers colours, this Dunk Low Protro features a vivid orange and decorative patterning for a bold take on the classic sneaker. Dubbed the “Mamba Eterno”, this colourway perfectly fits Nike’s annual Día de Muertos collection.

Black covers the toe overlays, Swoosh and much of the shoe’s structure, framing orange sections across the toe box, sides and heel. Floral detailing gives those bright panels more depth than a flat colour block, while the worn-looking black laces add a rougher edge. Teal and purple appear on the ReactX drop-in midsoles. Together, those choices make the Nike Kobe Dunk Low Protro “Mamba Eterno” recognisable at a glance while giving it a character distinct from a standard two-colour release.

The design draws on Día de Muertos, a tradition of remembering and honouring people who have died. Nike explicitly connects the accompanying Kobe 3 Low Protro “Mamba Eterno” to that tradition. On the Dunk, the floral work carries the tribute more clearly than the black and orange palette alone. It also sets this pair apart from recent Kobe Dunks tied to events and teams, including the F.C. Barcelona and WNBA All-Star releases. This pair arrives with extra white, pink, and black laces to personalise your style.

Other regions’ SNKRS listing schedules the Nike Kobe Dunk Low Protro “Mamba Eterno” for release on 30th October 2026. However, UK pricing and availability have not been confirmed.
