The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Metallic Gold” Has the Midas Touch

Ever since it was brought back at the beginning of last year, the Zoom Vomero 5 has quickly become one of Nike‘s most hyped running shoes, and it’s thanks to legendary pairs like the upcoming Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Metallic Gold.” One of the latest colourways to hit the Y2K classic, make sure you keep reading to find out everything that you need to know.

Just like a lot of other Zoom Vomeros, this one works on top of a crisp “White” mesh base. However, unlike a lot of other Zoom Vomeros, it’s overlaid by panels and panels of “Metallic Gold” leather that shimmer in the light. This accent makes its way to the midfoot cage and heel counter, and the Swoosh is coated in the shiny shade as well.

Underfoot, the midsole is crafted from Cushlon foam for extra cushioning, and it’s infused with Zoom technology to make each step even more comfortable. The sneaker is then finished off with a portrait of Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman on the insole, paying homage to the silhouette’s track roots.
