The TN7 “Scorpion” is the Most Aggressive Air Max Plus VII Yet this 2026

While previous VII colourways played it safe with OG-inspired palettes, Nike is finally weaponising the Air Max Plus VII. The “Scorpion” (IQ9429-001) is a hard pivot into the aggressive, nocturnal energy that defined the original Tuned era.

The aesthetic hinges on “bioluminescence.” The mesh upper transitions from a deep, void-black into a sharp Gamma Blue, mimicking the way scorpions glow under UV light. It’s a departure from the classic “Sunset” gradients, replacing warmth with a cold, predatory look.

The TPU cage functions more like an exoskeleton here, reinforced by translucent overlays that give the silhouette a heavier, more mechanical presence without sacrificing the TN’s signature agility.
