We’re Falling Head Over Heels for the Nike Air Max 1 “Valentine’s Day”
Every year, Nike celebrates the season of romance with a bunch of loved-up sneakers, and this year, the American sportswear company is taking the bow off of the Nike Air Max 1 “Valentine’s Day.” Set to drop alongside an Air Force 1 and a Dunk Low, we absolutely adore this upcoming colourway.
While most V Day-themed kicks are painted predominantly in red and pink and white, this Air Max 1 goes down a more unconventional route. The base is splashed in “Sail,” and it’s overlaid by premium leather panels that are all dipped in a creamy “Coconut Milk” hue. A cute “Light Soft Pink” Swoosh glides through the sidewalls, while earthy “Baroque Brown” tones wrap around the tongue tag and mudguard. It’s definitely not your typical Valentine’s Day shoe, but it’s, without question, one of the spiciest of the year.

A pair of cotton laces tie everything together, and to really drive the inspiration home, Nike has stamped a little heart emoji on the lateral toe, just to remind you that this is, indeed, your sole mate. All of this then rests on top of an Air-infused midsole, finalising the dreamy design.
