The Nike Air Max Waffle “Action Green” is a Magnificent Mash-Up

After being teased on the SNKRS app earlier this year, the hotly anticipated Nike Air Max Waffle “Action Green” is locked and loaded and ready to go. A hybrid between two of Nike‘s most iconic silhouettes, this is the perfect combination between classic and contemporary.

Starting from the very top, the neon green upper is very obviously inspired by the legendary Waffle Racer. Crafted from nylon and overlaid with suede throughout, it’s the ultimate homage to one of the American sportswear company’s oldest running shoes. Slick black leather Swooshes glide across the lateral and medial sidewalls, and around the heel, you’ll find Nike branding in “Total Orange.”

Underfoot, the front of the soles borrows from the original Waffle sole, but the heel is equipped with the Tuned Air cushioning system straight from the Air Max Plus, ensuring unrivalled comfort with every step.
