If you didn’t already know, “Beef & Broccoli” is one of the most legendary colour combinations in the sneaker game. Introduced back in the ’80s and ’90s, it’s inspired by a traditional Chinese dish that’s very popular in New York City. And now, it’s coming to the AM90 in the form of the Nike Air Max 90 “Beef & Broccoli.”
Working on top of a rich olive mesh base, this Air Max 90 is overlaid by green suede across the sidewalls, while a slick black leather mudguard wraps around the shoe. Brown rubber hits the lacing system, and a crisp white Swoosh glides though the lateral and medials for that classic Air Max aesthetic.
Underfoot, the sneaker rests on top of a chunky midsole, and it’s fitted with an exposed Nike Air bubble around the heel for added comfort. All of this is then finished off with branding on the tongue tag and heel badge, finalising the design.
