This is the most subtle “Safari” theme on any Nike Air Max model yet! While previous releases this year on the Air Max 95 such as the recent Air Max 95 Viotech or the Anatomy of Air “Light Bone” showcased eye-catching graphic prints, this new colourway keeps the patterns low-key.

The Nike Air Max 95 “Reflective Safari” combines various accents of Grey with Black to hide the Safari prints on the side panels. Pebble-like textures also appear on the tongue to fulfil the theme. Definitely set to be a very popular colourway because of the monotone palette!

A Light Smoke Grey gradient comprises the leather wavy panels on the sides, steadily moving from dark to light in true Air Max 95 OG form. Black covers the surrounding panels on the toe, Swoosh, lining, and mudguard. The Safari graphic prints adorn the Grey wavy panels in a subtle fashion. 3M reflective materials allow the patterns to stand out under the right conditions.

The lines on the eyestays also feature reflective materials to catch even more attention. An embroidered Swoosh comes in Black for a minimalist appearance.

The Safari textures extend to the Air Max label on the tongue. These pebble-like aesthetics have been a mainstay graphic print on most Safari-inspired Nike silhouettes.

Black and White Safari patterns appear notable on the cored-out section on the outsole. Fans of the Air Max 1 “Safari” will be quick to notice the reference.

The Nike Air Max 95 “Reflective Safari” is definitely the most minimalist Safari colourway we’ve seen yet, but has included the print subtlety to great effect.
