Another essential body part becomes the theme of the special edition Air Max 95 Anatomy of Air collection! After the Muscle and Skeleton renditions, we get a first look at the Nike Air Max 95 Anatomy of Air “Spine”.
Nike hits us again with another heavyweight drops inspired by the human anatomy. This will most likely will be the final instalment, as the spine completes the three main body parts used by Sergio Lozano when drafting the original design for the Air Max 95.
Expectedly dropping sometime in the coming weeks, let’s go ahead and check out the rest of the official photos below.
Eagle eyed AM95 fans will immediately spot the colour scheme and textures used bring similarities to the Freddy Krueger inspired “A Nightmare on Elm Street” colourway, dropped around Haloween season in back in 2020.
Canvas and Suede make up the majority of the wavy panels. Various shades of Brown and Reddish Brown comprise the sides. The Red Swoosh on the rear keeps it subtle by blending on the dark suede area. Toe cap comes in Black to stick to the anatomy theme.
The tongue features an airy mesh to make up for the lack of ventilation of the canvas upper. Air Max labels on the tongue mix White and Red as a nod to the internal organs.
The “Spinal” theme appears on the heel panel where the heel counter resembles a vertebrae.
Another vertebrae design arrives on the cored-out section of the outsole to complete the anatomical aesthetic.
Fans of these styles can expect an upcoming drop soon to follow up the first two colourways. We can assume a late Autumn 2022 drop of the Nike Air Max 95 Anatomy of Air “Spine”!
