After checking out the Air Force 1 edition last week, we’re now taking our first look at the upcoming Nike Dunk Low “Year of the Snake.” Paying homage to the sixth animal in the Chinese zodiac, this is dropping just in time for Lunar New Year, and will be part of a much wider collection.
Working on top of an olive green leather base, this Dunk Low is overlaid by “Ironstone” nubuck panelling throughout. A “Metallic Green” Swoosh glides across the lateral and medial sidewalls, and just in case one Swoosh wasn’t enough, Nike‘s embroidered a smaller one across the toe area.
From a distance, this looks like just another classic Dunk, but it’s actually woven with plenty of snake-inspired details throughout. From the quilted sockliner to the custom insole, even the tongue tag has been given a special snakeskin finish. All of this then rests on top of a “Sail” midsole, offering unrivalled levels of comfort and cushioning with every step.
The Nike Dunk Low “Year of the Snake” is scheduled to release sometime in Spring 2025. Let us know if you’ll be going for these, and be sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to secure your size!
