Earlier this year, the sneakerverse was bombarded with mock-ups of the alleged Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low “Ink.” According to the rumours, the shoe was supposed to drop as part of a much wider collection that celebrated the New York City streetwear imprint’s 30th anniversary. But as time went on and 2024 came and went, the hotly anticipated shoe was nowhere to be found. But just before all hope was lost, we’re getting an on-foot look at the “Ink.” And while it’s not releasing in the reported timeframe, it’s better late than never, right?
Of course, this isn’t Supreme’s first take on the SB Dunk. But from what we’ve seen so far, it might be one of its best. For this upcoming rendition, the skate shoe gets a full suede makeover that’s buttery to the touch. The base is decked out in “Iron Grey,” and it’s overlaid by rich “Ink” purple panels throughout for a contrast that’s guaranteed to turn heads.
Slick black Nike Swooshes glide across the lateral and medial sidewalls, and these are complemented by “fat” tongues that offer additional comfort. And yes, the standout feature of this trainer is the “94” that’s embroidered around the heel, nodding to the year that James Jebbia founded the brand.
To round it all off, the midsole is infused with Zoom Air tech for maximum cushioning on the half-pipe, and it comes with an exclusive Nike SB x Supreme keychain, finalising the design.
The Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low “Ink” is expected to launch in May 2025, and it’ll release alongside three other colourways. Let us know if you’ll be going for these, and be sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to secure your size!
