The Temptation Vacation x ASICS GEL-DS Trainer 14 is a one-of-a-kind collaboration. Not only does it mark the Australian brand’s first sneaker with the Japanese sportswear company, it also shines a spotlight on this massively underrated silhouette. Inspired by the beautiful beaches from Down Under, this should not be overlooked.

Originally released in 2009 as a performance running shoe, the GEL-DS Trainer 14 now returns as part of ASICS‘ Sportstyle line. Dipped in a clean “Cream” colour scheme, it’s a nod to white sand beaches. “Olive” suede overlays pay tribute to the Australian brush, and pops of ocean blue hit the outsole and lining, giving the trainer a sun-drenched, surf-ready vibe.

There’s no mistaking the DNA though. Underfoot, the midsole is infused with GEL tech for unrivalled comfort and cushioning, and the TRUSSTIC shank keeps it nice and supportive. All of this is then finished off with a toggle switch lacing system.

Clean, comfortable, and coast-inspired, the Temptation Vacation x ASICS GEL-DS Trainer 14 is scheduled to drop on May 25th on Temptation Vacation’s site, followed up by a global release on May 30th.
