Air Jordan 1 Mid SE "Electro Orange"

The iconic Air Jordan 1 has graced the sneaker community for over three decades now and fortunately it doesn’t look like it’s stopping anytime soon. It’s a classic lifestyle shoe that first made its way onto the basketball court as Michael Jordan‘s signature shoe, the first of many. Landing in a Mid build up, this Air Jordan 1 sports vibrant hues of Orange and White. It’s much like the Air Jordan 1 High Electro Orange that was released a month earlier.

The Air Jordan 1 Mid may be an acquired taste for some sneakerheads, but it has all the main features that Highs have. There’s the leather upper and Nike Swoosh on the sides, not to mention the perforated vamp and a PU sole. The main difference is that the ankle collar is lowered. It may surprise you to find out that MJ himself played much of his career in Mids.

A rubber cup sole hides an encapsulated Air unit on the heel, this is fitted to allow for a comfy fit. The shoe is finished off with a rubber outsole, with stars and concentric patterns for grip.

This new Air Jordan 1 Mid SE (Special Edition) colourway appears in bright Orange and White accents, it’s truly a unique style. Orange hues make up most of the overlays while a white tint adorns the rest of the body, including the Swoosh on the sides. The Swoosh is outlined with orange stitching.

A Jumpman logo appears on the tongue to accompany the Wings logo on the ankle collar. Jumpman logos regularly replace the normal “Nike Air” branding on non-OG colourways. The orange outsole completes the theme of this Jordan 1 Mid SE.
