Nike Revives a Cult Classic from the 00s, the Nike Air Superfly

The Nike Air Superfly is back. First released in 2000, this cult-favourite silhouette returns with a fresh spin and a sharper edge. Still low-cut, still sleek but now reworked with bolder textures and updated materials. It’s lightweight, very 00s-driven, and shaped for comfort.

The upper features a mix of soft suede, mesh, and perforated leather. The metallic silver option brings a futuristic feel, while the oil green and black versions keep things more understated. A reverse seam design removes the inner sock liner, giving it a stripped-back build that fits closer to the foot. It’s minimal, and unlike pretty much everything else right now, but works.

Underfoot, visible Air cushioning keeps the ride smooth. The shape leans athletic, but it’s built more for the daily grind.

This relaunch marks 25 years since the first release but it’s clear the Air Superfly still has plenty of miles ahead. Dropping July 31st, let us know if these are making the cut and keep it locked on release day for a reminder when these launch.
