The Air Jordan Spizike Low “Storm Blue” brings a familiar mix of retro parts together, but this time in a colour that’s quietly built a name for itself. While it may not have sparked the same hype on release as some of the OGs, “Storm Blue” now holds weight thanks to a slow-burn rise in popularity—helped along by its reappearance in a Union LA collab a few years back.
The Spizike itself pulls design cues from five different Jordan models. You get the wings and toe from the 4s, the eyelets from the 5s, the tongue from the 6s, and traces of the 3 and 20 in the mix too. That blend sounds wild on paper, but it holds together, especially with the blue overlays locking in the whole upper against a clean white base.
Elephant print covers the toe and heel, grounding the shoe in unmistakable Jordan heritage. The midsole stays classic, with visible Air cushioning delivering soft landings and an old-school profile.
This low-top version trims the collar for a slightly more relaxed shape, but it keeps all the attitude. Whether you see it as a mash-up or a tribute, the Spizike Low doesn’t hold back on detail. With “Storm Blue” finally getting its due, this release hits at the right time—nostalgic, loaded with history, and still different enough to stand out.
