MENACE doesn’t just design clothes, they tell stories. And with their first-ever adidas collaboration, founder Steven Mena turns the adidas Superstar into a tribute to the people and places that raised him.

At first glance, the pink hairy suede sets the tone, bold, emotional, deeply personal. It’s a nod to his mother and her favourite rose, a colour chosen not for trend, but for gratitude. Slip inside and the satin lining hits you with a quiet memory, inspired by the mattresses he slept on growing up, it’s a hidden reminder of sacrifice and survival.

But this sneaker isn’t soft, it carries the weight of working-class Los Angeles. The diamond-plate texture on the tongue, echoed on the shoebox, reflects steel yards and job sites. Bolt-shaped eyelets, paisley stitching, and the Yankees-style “M” on the heel root it firmly in MENACE’s identity — street-born, community-backed, forged in struggle.

Navy 3-Stripes slice through the pink base, grounding the design in adidas heritage while giving space for MENACE’s voice to lead. This isn’t just a Superstar reimagined, it’s one retold through the lens of those who had to grind for everything. Dropping via adidas CONFIRMED on October 21st.
